Our History
The Reilly Family have been fishing in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean from the Belmullet Peninsula since the 1840s. At this time, the trade with the mainland would be barter. In 1901, at Whaling Station, based on Inishkea Island, trading with Norway began. Since then, they developed the seafood business, suppling local hotels, nursing homes, and also house to house. The Atlantic Ocean has by far the best reputation for the finest and cleanest water in the world.
